Mentorship Program

The mentorship program offered by Friends for Youth provides children and young adults with adult support and guidance through long-term, high quality, one-to-one mentoring and supporting activities.  

We offer two different programs:

  • One-to-One: Youth are matched with caring mentors, with whom they will spend 2-3 hrs. a week together for a 6-month to a year period.
  • Connect: School-based group mentoring to help youth transition into high school. Offered at: Sequoia High School, McKinley Middle School, and Hover Middle School.
